How The Male Lead Cures The Young Lady Who Has A Limited Time

'What should I do now?'

Yvette bit on her thumbnail.

It's nice to be alive instead of dying to the curse, but at this rate, it's going to change the original story.

"Wait a minute."

It was just then.

'With a repeated knock, I heard Noel's voice over the door again.'

Yvette, who looked up glaringly, asked in a wary tone.

"....What?"

"Your chance of clothes has arrived."

The words brightened Yvette's expression at once.

'Finally!'

As soon as she changed her clothes, she was going to run away.

There was nothing good about being with Noel for a long time.

'If you make a mistake overnight, you have to finish it overnight.'

She had no intention of interrupting the main character's love.

If only you could disappear quietly, the original story will flow without any problems.

I can't even remember what happened last night. There was no reason to linger on it.

Yvette took a long deep breath, arose from her seat.

Eventually, she opened the bathroom door, which was tightly closed.

* * * *

Noel Aberon crossed his arms as he waited for the door in front of him to open.

He had the dress in his hand which the driver had handed over a while ago.

After a short while, the tightly closed door opened.

Through the gap, a face that he had seen throughout the night appeared.

"Where are the clothes?"

Yvette asked him with only her head peeking from the bathroom door.

Her eyes were as blue as the sky it was filled with no boundaries.

"Here."

Noel, who opened his arms, showed her a dress in his hand.

"Are you going to change in there?"

At his question, Yvette opened her eyes as if she were dumbfounded.

"Isn't that obvious?"

"I was just asking just in case. I can close my eyes if you want."

Noel smirked and pushed her dress toward Yvette.

Yvette tried to snatch the dress with only her arms stretching out of the door crack.

But Noel slipped back before she could reach it.

"....what are you doing?"

Seeing him one step away, Yvette asked absurdly.

Seeing her frown, Noel nonchalantly opened his mouth.

"Really, you didn't know I was the Duke of Aberon?"

Yvette narrowed her eyebrows to the unexpected question.

"No way, are you offended because I don't recognize you?"

"No way."

Noel shook his head in flat denial.

"I was just amazed. It's the first time a person doesn't know who I am and acts like you."

An ordinary person would have boiled straight from his knees as soon as that person found out he was Duke of Aberon.

However, Yvette was only embarrassed and did not intend to honor him as 'Duke of Aberon'.

"Well, that's it."

Yvette flinched at his comments.

Her eyes seemed to sway nervously, and immediately she opened her mouth.

"...ha we spent the night together! we still have some time together, wouldn't it be too heartless to be difficult? "

With a door in between, Yvette eagerly made an excuse.

"But if you're still uncomfortable, be polite now….!"

"No. Just do it now."

Noel, who was still listening to her, opened his mouth.

"It's not bad because it's new."

He smirked and handed Yvette the dress again.

Yvette, who was looking between him and the dress, reached out carefully.

Noel waited until she grabbed the dress and lowered her arm.

Then he said with a mysterious face.

"Change your clothes and come out. I'll be waiting."

* * * *

'....it looks more expensive than I thought.'

Yvette, who went back into the bathroom, shed admiration at the dress Noel handed over.

The dress with a high neck was blue throughout.

Although there were no fancy decorations or patterns, the fabric was soft and thick.

It was a perfect dress to wear in this cold autumn weather as it is now.

Yvette made sure the door was closed properly, and then quickly changed.

At first, I was worried that the size might not fit, but strangely, it fits perfectly as if measured with a ruler.

'....this is good enough right?'

Finally, Yvette checked her attire and opened the bathroom door.

Noel, who was sitting on the bed, smiled and said.

"the clothes seem to fit well."

"Yes. Fortunately, it fits well."

Yvette nodded.

"By the way, I don't see the driver who bought this?"

Looking at the street around Yvette, Noel said.

"I just got your clothes and sent them back. I don't think it's going to be convenient to run into them in this situation."

".........Oh."

Yvette paused at the words.

Right, I had an accident with him.

When I recalled the forgotten fact, my face heated up.

Yvette quickly changed the subject, fanning her face with one hand.

"Well, Can I pay you back for the dress later? I only have money to pay for my wagon expenses now...."

"You don't have to pay me back."

Noel shook his head.

"I bought it for you anyway, so I think it's a gift."

"but, it looks quite expensive...."

As Yvette blurred the end of her words, Noel crept up the corners of his mouth secretly.

"If it bothers you, then pay me back with something other than money."

"....if anything else, which one?"

At the moment, many imaginations passed through Yvette's mind.

As if he had noticed that she was thinking, Noel added a daunting comment.

"It's not difficult, just tell me your name."

"My name?"

Yvette pondered for a moment.

'is it okay to tell him my name?'

Anyway, we won't run into each other again after today.

Noel also gave me his name, but I didn't think it was polite to keep it to myself.

Yvette, who finally made a decision, nodded.

"My name is, Yvette Blanche."

"......Yvette."

Noel recited her name at the last moment.

"Remember that name."

Noel smiled and nodded.

Even though he was just smiling. but, it felt dazzling.

Who cares if it's the male lead, he's uselessly handsome.

If it weren't for the male lead, she might have seduced him.

But the opponent was Noel Aberon.

She was only an extra, she wasn't the one to dare look over.

".... I'll go first then. I think my family would be worried."

After a moment of silence, Yvette opened her mouth.

I must have changed my clothes. It was really, really time to say goodbye to him.

"Do you want me to take you home?"

"No, I can go on my own."

Yvette hastily turned down his offer.

As soon as possible, I wanted to get out of this situation.

"Thank you for the dress. Then, bye!"

With that in mind, Yvette escaped from the inn.

Then she quickly went out to the street and called a passing carriage to stop.

"Here, please stop for a moment!"

* * * *

'I'm alive.'

On the way back home, riding a carriage.

Leaning back against the wall, Yvette slowly recalling what had happened to her.

'....What kind of extra life is this, full of ups and downs?'

Suddenly possessed a character in a novel.

Spent a night with the male lead because of drunk.

I couldn't believe it, all of this happened just in a week.

Yvette, who managed to calm her heart, looked out to the window.

Only after I was left alone, It all gradually began to feel real.

"From now on, what should I do? "

Ever since I became 'Yvette Blanche', I've never thought about the future.

It was because I thought I was going to die anyway.

As a result, I didn't have any specific plans on how to live in the future.

'...... For now, let's go home and think about it slowly.'

Yvette gazed blankly at the passing scenery.

Until yesterday, I was envious of people who lived their normal lives.

But in one night, I could enjoy a normal routine like them.

'I'm really alive.'

Yvette, who had been keeping her eyes fixed outside the window all the time, closed her eyes.

I thought there was nothing more unrealistic than being possessed by a novel.

It felt like a dream to be alive and breathing now.

* * * *

After a while, the carriage stopped in front of the Baron Larish Mansion.

After getting off the carriage, Yvette paid the horseman and then headed to the mansion.

Her uncle, Baron Larish, had no estates, so the mansion in the capital was as good as she had ever seen.

It wasn't big, but it was a neat mansion that was just right for three people.

Normally, I would have entered through the main gate, but today I felt embarrassed and headed to the back door.

This is because I don't have to run into the Larish couple.

'I'm sure they're both very worried by now.'

Baron Larish and his wife were one of the few people who knew the curse of Blanche.

they must be worried to hear that she didn't come home last night.

'They shouldn't be too surprised to see me.'

It was the moment when Yvette opened the back door lightly.

A quiet conversation flowed through the door.

"From today, we're going to use the second-floor room as a warehouse, so dispose of the furniture inside at a reasonable price."

"Oh my, they're all fine furniture, are you going to hand them all in?"

"You can't just keep using what a cursed child used to use! I don't want to use the things that cursed child use."

"Well, that's true."

From the sound of the voice, it seemed that one was Baron Larish, and the other was a maid.

Yvette, who was still listening to the conversation, blinked.

'....That, No way you mean me?'

I'm the only one cursed in this house.

Yvette put her ears close to the door to listen more closely.

Then a quiet conversation ensued.
